About LNTU

An introduction of Liaoning Technical University

Liaoning Technical University (LNTU), which was originally established in 1949, currently has 24 schools and departments with faculties in science, engineering, arts, economics, management, law and agriculture. LNTU has 3 post-doctoral stations, 19 majors for doctoral degree programs, 41 majors for masters, 11 fields for master of engineering, and 1 MBA, 1 national key discipline, 9 ministerial and provincial subjects. The university fosters international exchange and development. It has established academic exchange with over 50 universities (such as Oxford University, University of Technology Sydney, etc.) all over the world.

With the rapid development of data science and related industries in China, LNTU established the Institute of Data Science and Industry, which focuses on research of big data analysis and its applications. The core members of the institute are all PhDs and are excellent in data science research field. They published several papers on the top-tier international journals and conferences and have the rich experiences in data industrial project development and management.
